On May 20, the desert of Taklimakan in Aksu Prefecture, in the Chinese mainland's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, comes alive with the start of the 21st edition of the Taklimakan Rally. This iconic event brings together off-road teams and top international competitors ready to push their limits in one of Asia’s most challenging terrains.
Running over 13 adrenaline-packed days and covering about 5,183 kilometers, the rally features 10 special stages that promise a mix of rugged sands and dynamic landscapes. Since its start in 2005, this race has grown into Asia’s longest and largest international cross-country rally, drawing racers from the UK, France, the Czech Republic, Spain, and beyond. 🚗💨

The race kicks off its first stage this Wednesday and will keep speed enthusiasts on the edge of their seats until its conclusion on June 1. Whether you’re a hardcore motorsport fan or just in for a thrilling adventure, the Taklimakan Rally is setting the stage for unforgettable moments.
