Xi Jinping Signs Order to Secure Military-Industrial Facilities

Xi Jinping, chairman of the Central Military Commission, has taken a significant step in boosting national security with a new order aimed at protecting key military-industrial facilities. This order introduces a robust set of regulations for safeguarding critical sites used for research, production, testing, and storage of important weaponry and equipment. 🚀

Jointly published by the Chinese mainland's State Council and the CMC, the document details security measures such as the creation of protection zones. Without proper authorization from relevant management authorities, entry by individuals, vehicles, and vessels is off-limits, and any form of photography or documentation in these zones is strictly prohibited. 🚫📷

Premier Li Qiang also endorsed the decree, underlining the importance of these precautions in modernizing national defense while complementing socio-economic development plans. With 51 articles spread over seven chapters, these regulations will come into effect on September 15, 2025.
