Team China has revealed its flag bearers for the opening ceremony of the 2025 International University Sports Federation (FISU) Summer World University Games in Rhine-Ruhr and Berlin, Germany! 🌟
Badminton star Cui Hechen from Hunan Normal University and women’s 3×3 basketball ace Liu Bei from Huazhong University of Science and Technology will make their Universiade debut, and they couldn’t be more excited for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! 😎
Cui shared his enthusiasm, saying, "I'm really excited to be the flag bearer because I know it might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm grateful to represent my country and meet college students from around the world." Meanwhile, Liu added, "This is my first time competing at the World University Games, and I'm thrilled to represent my country and fellow students. My goal is to win gold and showcase the vibrant spirit of Chinese youth!"
The Games will run from July 16 to 27 and feature Chinese athletes competing in 90 events across 14 sports. It’s a dynamic stage where talent and passion collide—let’s cheer our flag bearers on as they step into the global spotlight! 🚀
