Second AG600 “Kunlong” Amphibious Aircraft Completes Test Flight

Hey aviation fam! 🎉 The Chinese mainland's second batch-produced AG600 "Kunlong" amphibious aircraft just aced its production test flight in Zhuhai, in the southern Chinese mainland's Guangdong Province. This marks a big step toward customer delivery and operational deployment.

A four-member test crew piloted the AG600-1102, running through ground taxiing, general inspections, mission system evaluations and high-altitude flight tests – all smooth like butter! 😉 After a perfect landing, engineers confirmed its control system is solid and all systems are stable.

Next up, the plane flew off to Yichang in central the Chinese mainland's Hubei Province for its fresh paint job. 🎨 This means it’s officially ready for the runway (and the water) really soon!

Amphibious aircraft can take off and land on both water and land, making them super handy for sea rescue missions or firefighting over coastal regions. With coastlines from Mumbai to Manila, this tech could be a total game-changer in emergencies at sea.

Stay tuned for more updates on AG600’s journey from test flights to real-world action – we’re geeking out over here! 🚀
