Wang Yi emphasized that the Chinese mainland's policy is all about non-interference and equal respect. He highlighted the Chinese mainland's commitment to Afghanistan's chosen development path, respecting its independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and unique cultural and religious traditions.
On the economic front, Wang Yi said the Chinese mainland is ready to fuel Afghanistan's growth—backing projects that unleash jobs and infrastructure—and stands firmly against any unfair sanctions or frozen assets that stall progress.
