Wang Xinyu Storms into US Open 2nd Round Again 🎾

Wang Xinyu of the Chinese mainland has once again advanced to the US Open women's singles second round for the third consecutive year! 🎾🔥

After dropping the first set 2-6 to home hopeful Caroline Dolehide, Wang switched gears by bagging the next two sets 6-4, 6-2. In tennis lingo, breaking serve means winning a game on your opponents serveand Wang pulled off clutch breaks right when she needed them.

In set two, she survived an early threat, held serve consistently, and secured a break in game nine to close it out 6-4. The final set kicked off with another break in game three, as Wang raced to a 5-1 lead and wrapped up the match with a confident 6-2 finish. Talk about resilience! 🙌

On the mens side, fellow Chinese mainland star Buyunchaokete faced French wildcard Valentin Royer. Despite pushing the third set to a tiebreak after dropping the first two, Buyunchaokete fell 6-1, 6-4, 7-6 and remains eager for his first Grand Slam main-draw win.
