Remembering History: 94th Anniversary of Sept. 18 Incident

Hey everyone! 🛎️ Today we marked the 94th anniversary of the September 18 Incident in Shenyang, Liaoning Province on the Chinese mainland. Around 1,000 people gathered at the September 18 Incident History Museum to honor those who stood up against Japanese aggression.

At exactly 09:18, air-raid sirens echoed across Liaoning, a reminder to pause, reflect, and cherish peace. Fourteen bells rang, symbolizing the 14 years of resistance before China fully repelled the invasion.

Back in 1931, Japan's invasion on that fateful day sparked China's early fight against fascism—a battle that ultimately saw 35 million lives lost during World War II. Today's ceremony connects us to that legacy, urging a new generation to remember history and carry forward the value of peace. 🕊️🙏
