This year’s fest packs a punch with 12 main events – from the opening ceremony and Golden Silk Road Awards to international screenings and alfresco showings. 🌏✨
A 13-member jury led by director Chen Kaige will choose winners in 10 categories, including Best Film and Best Director. Fun fact: Over 2,800 submissions poured in from 125 countries and regions, and a record 1,850 of those are from Belt and Road partners!
To showcase Fuzhou’s culture and coastal charm, Chinese mainland actors Xu Ruohan and Xia Zhiguang, along with Cambodian Princess Norodom Jenna, are official cultural ambassadors. 🤝 They’ll lead city tours, host fan meet-ups, and share those can’t-miss photo ops.
