China & France Deepen Ties at 27th Strategic Dialogue 🤝

Hey folks! 🤝 China & France just wrapped up their 27th Strategic Dialogue in Hangzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province. The goal? Level up cooperation in trade, tech, energy and more!

The high-level chat was co-chaired by China's top diplomat Wang Yi (a Political Bureau member of the CPC Central Committee and director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs) and Emmanuel Bonne, diplomatic adviser to the French president.

Both sides hailed fresh progress under their leaders' guidance: close exchanges at all levels, practical projects rolling, and tighter multilateral teamwork. 🌏

Wang Yi stressed building "a more strategically stable and forward-looking relationship" to serve long-term interests and shared global responsibilities. China is keen to boost high-level talks, deepen trust and tap into emerging sectors like renewable energy and local initiatives.

On the flip side, Emmanuel Bonne underlined France’s independent diplomacy and one-China policy, eyeing stronger ties in economy & trade, civil nuclear power, science & tech, plus new energy. ⚡️

The duo also voiced opposition to trade wars and camp-based confrontation, favoring open dialogue over closed blocs. They pledged to step up coordination at the United Nations and champion EU strategic autonomy when engaging with China.

Discussions touched on hot-button issues like the Ukraine crisis, the Middle East situation and ideas for reforming the global governance system. 🌐

This dialogue paves the way for fresh China-France collabs across both traditional and emerging fields. Stay tuned for how these moves shape our interconnected world! 🚀
