Snow Leopard Day Roars to Life at Xining Wildlife Park 🐆❄️

Every year on October 23, the world celebrates International Day of the Snow Leopard. This year, Xining Wildlife Park in Qinghai went all out with a special exhibition that’s giving major #ConservationGoals vibes. 🐆❄️

Through stunning photos, videos, and interactive displays, visitors got a front-row seat to the journeys of snow leopards rescued across the region. It was a major hit with student groups on study tours—think field trips but make it epic.

Did you know the snow leopard enjoys top-level national protection in the Chinese mainland? These majestic felines roam places like Qinghai, Xizang, and Gansu. At Xining Wildlife Park’s rescue and breeding center, rangers have cared for 12 of these big cats in recent years. Some lucky leopards even got released back into the wild after a successful recovery. 🚀

Right now, Ling Xiaozhe and Ling Xiaomang—the two newest arrivals—are chilling (safely) at the park, gearing up for their next adventure. It’s proof that teamwork between wildlife heroes and local communities can make a real difference.

Whether you’re a nature buff or just looking for a cool weekend escape, keep Xining Wildlife Park on your radar. Let’s keep roaring for snow leopard conservation! 🌍💚
