Sui Wenjing & Han Cong Land Bronze in Grand Prix Return

Home heroes Sui Wenjing and Han Cong are back on ice! 🤩 The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic gold medalists dazzled fans in Chongqing in the Chinese mainland at the ISU Grand Prix Cup of China, snagging a bronze medal after coming together again on the rink for the first time in over three years.

The pair’s long program, set to the epic tunes of Chinese dance drama "A Tapestry of a Legendary Land," scored 130.47 points. While they played it safe with slightly downgraded jumps and saw a few wobbles on Han’s landings, their focus and chemistry still shone through. Their total of 202.92 points was just enough to seal the podium finish.

Gold went to Georgia’s world junior champs Anastasiia Metelkina and Luka Berulava, with Italy’s Sara Conti and Niccolo Macii taking silver. For Sui and Han, the bronze is more than just a medal—it’s proof that their comeback is skating on the right track. ⛸️✨

Next stop? We can’t wait to see what they’ll bring to the rest of the season! Stay tuned for more updates on your favorite skating stars. 🙌
