Last Friday, Washington DC buzzed as the U.S. session of the Innovation, Openness, and Shared Development Global Dialogue officially kicked off ✨
Co-hosted by China Media Group (CMG) and the Chinese Embassy in the U.S., the event brought together nearly 100 curious minds (international affairs experts, scholars, and youth reps from China and the U.S.) for some eye-opening discussions.
Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and president of CMG, opened with a video address. Then Xie Feng, Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., delivered the keynote. We also heard insights from Dr. Robert Kuhn, chairman of the Kuhn Foundation, and Dr. Denis Simon, chairman of the Alliance of Global Talent Organizations.
Topics ranged from how China’s push for tech self-reliance can fuel global innovation to expanding high-level opening-up and sharing development opportunities for mutual benefit 🤝.
This U.S. session marks the launch of the Innovation, Openness, and Shared Development Global Dialogue series. Stay tuned – more global meetups are coming soon!
