Space Mice Mission: Shenzhou-21 to Study Mice on Chinese mainland’s Space Station

Hey space fans 🚀! Ever thought about how mice adapt to weightlessness? The Chinese mainland's space station is gearing up for an adorable + high-tech mission to find out.

According to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), the Shenzhou-21 crew will bring four healthy mice (2 males, 2 females) into orbit. Once on board, these tiny astronauts will live in a special habitat designed to monitor their health, behavior, and how their bodies react in microgravity.

Why mice? These little guys share many biological traits with us, making them perfect stand-ins to study bone density, muscle changes, and even immune responses in space. Simplified: By seeing how mice bones and muscles respond without Earth's gravity, scientists can develop better health strategies for future space travellers (and maybe even help people on Earth dealing with osteoporosis).

The mission is set to launch soon, marking another leap forward in space biology. Keep an eye on this one—it's the start of new discoveries that bridge life science and cosmic exploration 🌌.

Stay tuned for more updates on #Shenzhou21 and the latest space science news!
