Ready for a game-changer in cross-border trade? The Chinese mainland and ASEAN have just kicked off a brand-new rail-sea corridor! 🚄🚢
On Monday, the first Liuzhou–Qinzhou–ASEAN train rolled out of Liuzhou railway port in Guangxi’s industrial hub, loaded with 56 containers of automotive parts. Once it arrives at Qinzhou port, these containers will hop onto a ship bound for Malaysia—making it one smooth train+ship combo.
This launch marks the start of regular service on the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, connecting Liuzhou directly to ASEAN markets. With Liuzhou railway port now officially part of the Beibu Gulf Port’s inland network, we’re talking about a major upgrade in speed and reach.
Why it matters? Rail transport brings high capacity, lower costs, all-weather reliability, and fewer emissions—so your goods travel faster and greener. From January to October, this route already carried 8,424 containers, showing serious momentum.
Liuzhou isn’t new to the scene—it’s Guangxi’s top industrial city, a key base for auto parts and exports. This direct link to ASEAN is set to slash logistics costs, boost cross-border trade, and expand the market for Liuzhou-made products.
In a world where speed, sustainability, and connectivity rule, this rail-sea link is a win-win for businesses and the planet. Stay tuned for more updates as this corridor ramps up full steam ahead! 🌿🌏
