Thanks to seamless cross-boundary coordination and tech like BeiDou-based RFID readers, their wristbands were tracked in real time, keeping the competition flowing at full speed.
Deep-Sea Flame & 5G-A Robot Relay 🤖🔥
In a global first, the torch’s source flame was tapped from methane ice on the seabed. A submersible called Haima dove 1,522 meters in the South China Sea, igniting the methane with solar power for a truly sci-fi moment. Then in Shenzhen, "Kuavo"—the world’s first 5G-A humanoid—did a flawless 100-meter torch relay with zero extra mods. Talk about next-level tech meets tradition!
