China Condemns US Arms Sale to Taiwan Region

Hey fam, heres the scoop 💥: On November 14, 2025, Chinas Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian slammed the USs approval of a fresh arms sale to the Taiwan region—the first such deal in President Trumps second term. Beijing says it "strongly deplores and opposes" the move and will take all necessary measures to defend national sovereignty, security and territorial integrity 🔴.

Lin Jian stressed that US arms sales to the Taiwan region seriously violate the one-China principle (the idea theres just one China) and the three China-US joint communiqués—especially the August 17, 1982 Communiqué. According to China, this deal undermines its sovereignty and security, clashes with international law, and sends a wrong signal to “Taiwan independence” separatist forces 🚫.

"The Taiwan question is at the core of Chinas core interests and the first red line in China-US ties," Lin added, urging Washington to stick to its commitments, stop supporting separatist attempts, and help maintain peace across the Taiwan Strait 🌊🤝.
