Last week, the 2025 Guangdong Provincial Barista Vocational Skills Competition wrapped up in Jiangmen, Guangdong, on 30 November. It brought together 68 talented baristas from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao for three days of caffeine-fueled challenges. ☕️
At the same time, international delegates from Sri Lanka, Iran and Fiji—along with global journalists—joined cross-cultural coffee exchanges and sampled local specialty brews. Their visit set the stage for the upcoming 2025 "Understanding China" Conference in Guangzhou.
This lively mix of coffee experts and young talent shone a global spotlight on Jiangmen’s fast-growing coffee industry and its dynamic youth workforce. From latte art throwdowns to bean-to-cup talks, it was a celebration of innovation and passion in every cup. 🎉🌟
