In a heartwarming turn, giant pandas Huan Huan and Yuan Zi have returned to Chengdu, Sichuan, after 13 amazing years at France’s Beauval Zoo. Their homecoming this December marks a new chapter in the enduring China–France friendship.
Since arriving in 2012, Huan Huan and Yuan Zi became cultural ambassadors, winning millions of hearts in France. They also welcomed three adorable cubs:

- Huan Lili (twin, 2021)
- Yuan Dudu (twin, 2021)
Now settling into their new habitat at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, this panda family continues symbolizing international cooperation and wildlife conservation efforts. Their journey reminds us how shared care and passion can connect communities across borders. 🌏❤️
