China Accuses Japan SDF Jets of Disrupting Naval Training

In a recent statement, a spokesperson for the People’s Liberation Army Navy said Japan’s Self-Defense Forces (SDF) aircraft repeatedly entered designated training airspace east of the Miyako Strait during routine drills, seriously threatening flight safety ✈️🌊.

According to Wang Xuemeng, the aircraft carrier Liaoning recently conducted standard carrier-based fighter jet exercises in waters announced in advance. However, SDF jets repeatedly approached the training zone, causing disturbances that disrupted Chinese naval operations.

"Japan's hype on the matter is completely inconsistent with the facts," Wang said, demanding the Japanese side immediately stop "smear and slander" and strictly restrain frontline forces. He warned that the Chinese Navy will take all necessary legal measures to safeguard its security and rights.

As tensions in the region remain under global scrutiny, this episode highlights ongoing challenges in maintaining clear boundaries during naval drills. For now, all eyes are on how both sides manage these delicate encounters at sea 🤝⚓.
