China's 20-year-old ski jumper Zeng Ping made history in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany 🎿, landing her best-ever World Cup result with a sixth-place finish in the women's large hill event.
Coming off back-to-back golds at the Continental Cup in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, in September 2025, Zeng kicked off her first jump with 112.3 points, ranking sixth after round one.
She kept the momentum going in jump two, scoring 114.8 points with a 126.5 m leap, sealing a combined total of 227.1 points and locking in sixth place overall.
Slovenia's defending champion Nika Prevc claimed her third straight title in Garmisch, finishing 23.1 points ahead of Germany's home favorite Selina Freitag, while Japan's World Cup leader Nozomi Maruyama rounded out the podium.
