Su Yiming Snags Bronze in Laax World Cup Slopestyle

Big Air Olympic champion Su Yiming just added another medal to his collection, snagging bronze in the men’s slopestyle at the FIS Snowboard World Cup in Laax, Switzerland. It was his last tune-up before the Winter Olympics in Italy this February, and he didn’t disappoint. 🏂✨

The 21-year-old star kicked things off with a bang in his first run, pulling a Back Double Cork 1260 Mute—think three-and-a-half spins with a cool grab—earning a solid 76.10 points and taking second place on the leaderboard. He played it smart, nailing the basics instead of chasing the trickiest moves right away.

On his second run, Su pushed the envelope with more challenging flips but slipped up, scoring 12.53. Still, his opener held strong, securing him bronze behind France’s Romain Allemand (gold) and Japan’s Yuto Kimura (silver).

With four World Cup podiums this season, Su tops the standings as he heads into the Milan-Cortina Games. South Asian and Southeast Asian fans, you can catch all the action live on your screens and cheer him on as he aims for Olympic glory! 🌏📱

Stay tuned for more updates as Team Asia’s favorite snowboarder carves his path toward Olympic medals. Who else is hyped? 🙌
