China Urges U.S. to Choose Dialogue Over Tariff Threats

China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on the United States to drop its pressure tactics, threats, and blackmail over trade issues. In a firm message, they emphasized that forced tariffs are not the way forward 😎.

A White House statement noted that China now risks a 245% tariff on imports due to "retaliatory actions." The press secretary remarked that "the ball is in China's court" when it comes to resolving the trade impasse.

Responding to these claims, spokesperson Lin Jian stressed, "Tariff and trade wars have no winners. China does not want to fight these wars but is not scared of them." Lin explained that the tariff measures taken by China are aimed at safeguarding its legitimate rights and upholding international fairness and justice.

Lin further urged that if the U.S. is serious about ending the dispute, it should abandon extreme pressures and engage in dialogue based on equality, respect, and mutual benefit. In today’s fast-paced, interconnected world, open communication is key to progress and stability 🚀.
