Shenhua’s 3-0 Triumph Keeps CSL Momentum!

Shanghai Shenhua lit up Dalian on Saturday with a commanding 3-0 win over Dalian Yingbo in a nail-biting CSL encounter. With 32 points from 13 matches, the team is riding high, and the atmosphere was electric from the first whistle! ⚡️

The first breakthrough came in the 34th minute when Chen Jinyi’s slick low cross found its way into the box. Despite a deflection off Liao Jintao, Joao Teixeira made no mistake, slotting the ball into the bottom corner to spark the opening goal. 😎

Just four minutes later, a rapid counter-attack saw Dalian’s goalkeeper Sui Weijie rushing out as Shanghai's Wu Xi sent in a long pass. Saulo Mineiro got to the loose ball first and headed it in, with Liu Chengyu neatly tidying up the effort for the second goal. The finishing touch came seven minutes into the second half when Wu Xi’s clever pass set up another one-on-one, and Mineiro’s shot left the opposition no chance, sealing the 3-0 victory.

While Shenhua rode the wave to stay atop the league, the rest of the CSL action added to the day's thrill: Tianjin Jinmen Tiger edged out Changchun Yatai 2-1, Qingdao Hainiu and Beijing Guoan played to a 1-1 draw, and both Chengdu Rongcheng and Shanghai Port settled for a tie in their matches. This mix of results is setting the stage for an intense season ahead!
