Small School, Big Joy: United Celebration in Miao Village

In the scenic mountains along the border of Guizhou and Guangxi, the children of Wuying Miao Village lit up the day with a vibrant celebration for International Children's Day! 🎉 Despite being a small community, where 104 households belong to Guangxi and 41 to Guizhou, the village has long embodied unity and shared joy.

The local school, tiny yet full of spirit, runs two classes. With 7 first graders and 6 second graders, these young stars are exploring a complete curriculum that goes beyond the basics. Alongside Chinese, math, and physical education, the kids also learn art, health and safety, and even traditional cultural programs like lusheng and Miao folk singing. This blend of modern education and cultural heritage keeps their roots strong while preparing them for a bright future. 😊

The celebration was a testament to the village's collaborative spirit—a place where borders fade, and the joy of togetherness takes center stage. Whether through playful activities or cultural performances, every moment resonated with the pride of a community that celebrates both its diversity and unity. It’s a heartwarming reminder that sometimes, the smallest schools and villages hold the biggest joy!
