In a vibrant display of art and history, two major Chinese cultural exhibitions have opened in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The event kicked off on Tuesday with the debut of the Galloping Steeds – 2025 Chinese Horse Culture Exhibition and the Chinese White – The Art of Dehua White Porcelain Exhibition, drawing in curious minds and art enthusiasts from all walks of life.
The horse culture exhibition boasts over 150 exhibits including saddles, poetic calligraphy, eye-catching paintings, sculptures, detailed paper cuttings, and even fur art – each piece highlighting the rich equestrian traditions that have inspired generations. 🐎 Meanwhile, the porcelain exhibition showcases more than 40 modern white porcelain pieces, including unique horse-themed items that celebrate the artistic kinship and mutual respect between cultures.
The opening ceremony was made even more memorable with the exchange of thoughtful gifts between Chinese and Turkmenistani institutions. Among these treasures were a special collection of Magtymguly's poetry translated into Chinese, exquisite porcelain, and other artworks – a heartfelt nod to cross-cultural friendship and creative dialogue. 😊
Open until early July, these exhibitions provide a rare opportunity for everyone – especially young, curious minds – to dive into the fascinating intersections of art, tradition, and cultural exchange. Whether you're an art buff or simply looking for a unique experience, this cultural showcase is a must-see!
