China’s FM Urges Dialogue Over Force for Global Peace

Hey everyone! In a bold call for peace, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, stressing that settling disputes by force is not the way forward. Instead, he emphasized that dialogue and negotiations are key to resolving conflicts in our fast-changing world. 😊

During the call, Wang Yi pointed out that using force—as seen when Israel and the United States took action against Iran over "potential future threats"—seriously undermines international law and infringes on a nation’s sovereignty. He urged all parties to return to equal-based discussions and steer contentious issues like the Iranian nuclear matter back to a political track.

Wang also noted that the Palestinian question sits at the heart of broader Middle East issues, advocating for the implementation of the two-state solution, which he believes is essential for long-term peace. On the other side, Fidan remarked that if Israel truly wants to secure its future, embracing the two-state solution and addressing the humanitarian challenges in Gaza is crucial. Türkiye is eager to enhance communication with China and work together for stability in the region.

This dialogue reflects a growing sentiment among global citizens—especially us digital natives—that talks and cooperation beat confrontation every time. In a world where our online chats and global networks bring us closer, it’s a timely reminder that peaceful resolutions can pave the way for a better future.
