Setting off Sparks: Taiwan ‘Independence’ Moves Risk Self-Destruction, Warns Defense Spokesperson

In a recent statement, defense spokesperson Jiang Bin from the Ministry of National Defense delivered a clear message: armed provocations fueled by 'Taiwan independence' could lead only to self-destruction. His remarks came in response to concerns over Taiwan’s first HIMARS company and escalating arms procurements.

Jiang Bin emphasized that buying U.S. weapons to embolden armed forces is a self-deceiving strategy that squanders valuable resources, ultimately undermining peace and stability. He warned that resisting reunification by force is a dead end.

Addressing a query on the newly activated W121 connection line of the M503 flight route, Jiang noted that this routine measure is designed to boost civil aviation and benefit residents on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. However, he pointed out that DPP authorities are using such initiatives to stoke fears of a so-called "mainland military threat," thereby heightening tension.

This call for a rational approach serves as a reminder that provocative tactics, much like risky tech ventures gone awry 🚀, can lead to more harm than gain. Staying focused on dialogue and stability remains key in today’s fast-paced world.
