United for Progress: China and Pakistan Pledge Core Support

In a vibrant display of international friendship, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in north China's Tianjin. The duo reaffirmed their commitment to mutual support on issues concerning each other’s core interests, sparking excitement for future collaborations. 😊

Wang Yi emphasized that China is ready to work hand in hand with Pakistan, building on the strong consensus reached by the leaders. A key highlight is the plan to jointly boost the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor with high-quality projects, along with deepening cooperation across agriculture, industry, and mining. This initiative is set to coincide with celebratory events marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year.

Adding to the dynamic agenda, the meeting underscored robust security measures. China supports Pakistan in its anti-terrorism operations and has consistently been concerned about the welfare of Chinese personnel, projects, and institutions in Pakistan. In turn, Pakistan reiterated its adherence to the one-China principle and pledged unwavering support for China's core interests.

The discussions also touched upon the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization Tianjin Summit, reflecting both sides’ eagerness to further deepen all-round cooperation. This strengthened partnership marks a pivotal move towards not only economic growth but also enhanced regional stability and safety. 🚀
