Chinese Premier Li Qiang Honors CPV Martyrs on 75th Anniversary in the DPRK

In a powerful tribute this Friday in Anju, the Chinese premier Li Qiang paid homage to the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army (CPV) at the cemetery—marking 75 years since they crossed the Yalu River and fought alongside civilians and soldiers in the DPRK to defend peace and justice 🕊️.

With a solemn wreath-laying ceremony, Li stood in silent respect at the tomb of the CPV heroes, recalling their two-year, nine-month-long struggle that ended in victory and forged an unbreakable friendship between the Chinese mainland and the DPRK 🤝.

“With deep reverence, we pay tribute to the CPV martyrs who sacrificed their lives heroically,” Li said, noting that their immortal feats never fade from the motherland or the people’s memory.

Li also highlighted how, under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a vibrant new era, steadily advancing toward the second centenary goal 🎯.

Joined by Jong Myong Su, vice-premier of the DPRK Cabinet, and around 100 participants—including all members of the Chinese delegation and embassy staff—Li then visited the China-DPRK Friendship Tower, a symbol of ongoing cross-border cooperation and shared development 🌐.

For today’s mobile-generation audience, this ceremony is more than a historical nod—it’s a reminder that respect and solidarity still shape our region. From digital memorials to heartfelt emojis, we honor the past as we build a connected, peaceful future together 🙏.
