PLA: Philippines’ ‘Joint Patrol’ Risks Regional Peace in South China Sea

Hey fam! The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command just slammed the Philippines’ “joint patrol” in the South China Sea as a major spoiler for regional peace 🗣️🌊.

Over the weekend of October 30–31, the Philippines teamed up with some non-regional partners for the patrol. Tian Junli, the PLA spokesperson, said this move “further confirms that the Philippines is acting as a troublemaker on the South China Sea issue and a disruptor of regional stability.”

According to Tian, the PLA tracked and monitored the patrol closely – and they’ve got forces on high alert. He stressed that any attempts to stir up tensions are “under firm control,” and that the PLA will defend national sovereignty and maritime rights at all costs 🚀⚓.

This matters because the South China Sea is a lifeline for trade – from Thai mangoes to Jakarta-made sneakers hitting e-commerce carts across Asia 🍋👟. Stay tuned as Manila and the Chinese mainland’s PLA continue this high-stakes game of sea chess 🚢♟️.
