New China-Vietnam Direct Flight Boosts ASEAN Ties

Hey there! Guizhou Airlines just kicked off a brand-new direct flight linking Guiyang and Ho Chi Minh City 🎉. Launched this weekend (Dec 6), flight GY703 takes off at 10:50 pm Beijing Time, landing in Ho Chi Minh at 1:30 am local time. The return GY704 departs at 2:30 am local time and is back in Guiyang by 7:10 am Beijing Time. No more layovers – just smooth skies!

This route joins the existing Guiyang–Hanoi service, giving travellers two of Vietnam’s biggest cities to choose from. For businesses and tourists alike, it means easier access to Vietnam’s vibrant markets and southwest China’s bustling hubs 🌏✨.

And it’s not just Guiyang–Ho Chi Minh City: China-ASEAN air connectivity is on fire 🔥. In November, a new Haikou–Nha Trang passenger route took off, and last month saw a full-cargo corridor open between Nanjing and Kuala Lumpur.

On the numbers side, China-ASEAN trade hit a record $982.1 billion in 2024, and this year trade value climbed 8.2 percent in the first ten months. More flights mean faster shipments, fresher goods, and a boost for regional economies.

Whether you’re planning a holiday, scouting business opportunities, or just daydreaming about your next adventure, these new routes are your ticket to exploring and connecting across Asia. Ready for takeoff? 🌟
