Xi urges united effort to boost youth moral values

Hey fam 👋, at a symposium in Beijing on December 15, Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed that guiding minors to develop strong moral qualities is a strategic mission for all of us. He urged schools, families and society to build a collaborative education mechanism that sets youths up for success.

By collaborative education, Xi means a three-way partnership: teachers shaping knowledge, parents living core values at home and communities offering positive social vibes. When everyone plays their part, young people develop lofty ideals, practice core socialist values and build good habits.

Xi outlined the dream for a new generation: morally grounded, intellectually sharp, physically active, aesthetically aware and job-ready. This all-round growth is key to driving socialist modernization and keeping the spirit of the cause alive.

Cai Qi, a top CPC official, joined the meeting and highlighted family education as the foundation. He also called for high-quality cultural resources, stronger internet literacy and a robust mental health service system to protect minors and curb juvenile delinquency. The session was presided over by Li Shulei.

For us digital natives in South and Southeast Asia, this message resonates beyond borders. Whether it is online study groups, community workshops or family coding nights, creating a healthy environment takes creativity and collective energy.

At the end of the day, shaping young minds is a shared responsibility. By working together, we can foster moral values and habits that will guide the next gen toward a brighter future 💪.
