Hey hoop fans! The Fujian Sturgeons snapped their three-game skid with a huge 115-94 win over the Tianjin Pioneers at home in Quanzhou. 🎉
Six players hit double figures, led by Zou Yang (22 points), Travis Trice (21) and Vladimir Brodziansky (20). Even more impressive? The Sturgeons’ bench outscored Tianjin’s reserves 60-8 – talk about depth! 💥
On the Pioneers’ side, Lin Ting-Chien poured in a season-high 33 points with six triples, and Javion Hamlet added 30 points and nine assists. But beyond Scottie James’ 11 points and 11 boards, support was slim. 😅
Tianjin led 33-27 after Q1 but cooled off with just 21 points in Q3 and 18 in Q4. They now sit 18th in the 20-team league with an 8-11 record.
Elsewhere, the Guangzhou Loong Lions kept the Sichuan Blue Whales winless after 13 games, cruising to a 106-76 victory. Justin Holiday dropped 28 points, and Erik Thomas chipped in 23 off the bench. 🦁
Over in Yiwu, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls notched their third straight win by beating the Beijing Royal Fighters 89-69. The Fighters are on a slide, losing three of four and hitting a season-low 69 points. 📉
