China Tops Central Asia Trade in 2025: $106B Milestone 🚀

Last year, in 2025, mainland China became Central Asia’s top trading partner, with trade hitting $106.3 billion—12% higher than 2024 and 6 points ahead of last year’s growth rate! 🚀

China’s exports to Central Asia totaled $71.2 billion, dominated by machinery, electronics and high-tech products—think smartphones, solar panels and advanced factory gear. Imports from the region climbed to $35.1 billion, with a mix of chemicals, steel and agricultural goods like grains and fresh fruit. 🌾⚙️

Cross-border e-commerce continues to boom, thanks to faster logistics, smooth payment systems and the new China-Central Asia Trade Facilitation Cooperation Platform launched in Nanjing. This makes it easier than ever for young shoppers and small businesses to trade across borders—imagine ordering handmade textiles from Uzbekistan or fresh pears from Kyrgyzstan with just a few taps! 📦💻

All of this is part of the high-quality cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. Key projects in rail and road links, equipment manufacturing, green minerals and modern agriculture are boosting exports and helping Central Asian countries upgrade industries and revitalize their economies. It’s a win-win for everyone involved! 🤝🛤️
