Cultural Fusion: New Shrine Unites Buddha’s Tooth Legacy

At the end of 2024, a treasured Buddha's tooth relic departed from Beijing's Lingguang Temple and arrived in Bangkok, marking a symbolic 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand.

This journey sparked an inspiring project focused on "civilizational dialogue." The architects embraced the rich exchange of cultures, reimagining traditional elements by integrating classic Chinese glazed tiles with iconic Thai motifs.

The pavilion’s standout feature is its roof: elegantly curved eaves intertwine a coiled Chinese dragon with a mythical Thai naga, symbolizing a harmonious blend of heritage and innovation. ✨

For tech-savvy creatives and culture enthusiasts alike, this project is a testament to how history and design can fuel fresh, collaborative ideas. Cheers to artistic fusion and cultural unity! 😊
