Growing up in Johannesburg, Thandi was always fascinated by holistic healing. After a chance encounter with TCM during a health fair, she felt a spark. “I was amazed by how ancient practices could still be so relevant,” she shares.
Bridging Cultures 🌏
Now studying in Beijing, Thandi is not just learning about herbs and acupuncture—she’s embracing a whole new culture. “It’s been an incredible journey! From mastering Mandarin to making new friends, every day is an adventure,” she laughs.
Thandi hopes to bring the benefits of TCM back to South Africa. “I want to blend the best of both worlds to improve healthcare at home,” she says passionately.
