What’s up, Asia-Pacific changemakers? At the first session of the 32nd APEC Leaders’ Meeting, President Xi Jinping painted a vision for a more open and inclusive regional economy that plays to everyone’s strengths. 🌏
Xi stressed: “We should stay true to APEC’s founding mission to promote economic growth and improve people’s lives, and champion open development where everyone shares opportunities and emerges as a winner. We should promote a universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization and build an Asia-Pacific community.”
Moraima Ordoñez, a Mexican student at Peking University, is all in. She says Xi’s roadmap lays out how countries can team up through open trade & mutual benefit. As a young mind from an APEC economy, she’s hopeful: “Youth are the bridge to the future and under the idea of inclusion, young people must play an active role through open channels of communication and participation.”
From tech startups in Bengaluru to creative hubs in Jakarta, imagine the collabs this spirit of openness could spark. 🚀 For us young pros and students across South and Southeast Asia, it’s a chance to plug into global pathways, share fresh ideas, and shape tomorrow’s success stories together.
Stay tuned and keep the convo going—because inclusive growth needs your voice too! 💬
