The Philippines has been hit hard by a series of tropical cyclones, including Typhoon Wepa, Francisco, and Co-May, along with the effects of the southwest monsoon. As of Monday morning, authorities reported 31 fatalities, 17 injuries, and 7 people missing.
The disaster has affected over 1.75 million families – more than 6.27 million people nationwide. Agricultural losses have exceeded 790 million pesos, while infrastructure damage has topped 6.5 billion pesos.
