DPRK Keeps Border Loudspeakers, Seoul’s Hopes Dashed

Hey fam, fresh update from the border: the DPRK's not budging on those loudspeakers along the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). 🔊

In a statement titled “Hope of Seoul Is Nothing but a Foolish Dream,” shared via KCNA, Kim Yo Jong—vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea—made it clear that the DPRK never removed its border speakers and has no plans to do so. 🚫🎤

Seoul’s claims that the DPRK has softened—like pulling down speakers or downscaling the US-ROK military drills—are “misleading,” Kim said. The DPRK “does not care and is not interested” in South Korea’s moves, she added with a side-eye. 😏

And if you’ve heard buzz about the DPRK dropping big news at the upcoming Trump-Putin summit, Kim shut it down. According to her, the DPRK has nothing to do with the US. 🇺🇸✖️

Bottom line: those loudspeakers stay put, the military drills are happening, and the border drama continues. Stay tuned for more updates! 🌏
