In the men's 3-meter synchronized springboard, the new duo Zheng Jiuyuan and Hu Yukang maintained a steady lead throughout all six dives to earn a winning total of 448.65 points. Anthony Harding and Jack Laugher grabbed silver, and Lou Noel Guy Massenberg and Moritz Wesemann rounded out the podium with bronze.

The grand finale of the day was the mixed team event, where Chen Yiwen, Wang Zongyuan, Chen Yuxi, and Cheng Zilong delivered a stellar performance, clinching gold with 507.20 points. Ukraine and Mexico completed the podium and added to an unforgettable opening day.
