Hey speed demons 🏎️, Lando Norris absolutely owned the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez this weekend! Starting from pole, the 25-year-old Briton cruised to his 10th career win and sixth of the season, finishing a whopping 30.3 seconds ahead in Mexico City 🇲🇽.
With this epic victory, Norris grabs back the drivers' championship lead for the first time since April, edging out Oscar Piastri by just one point.
Current standings:
- 1️⃣ Lando Norris – 357 pts
- 2️⃣ Oscar Piastri – 356 pts
- 3️⃣ Max Verstappen – 321 pts
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc claimed P2 for his seventh podium of the season, calling it "a nice surprise" given their unknown pace here. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen battled to P3 after a hectic start that almost saw him crash out.
New talents shone bright too: teenage rookie Oliver Bearman delivered a career-best P4, followed by Piastri and Mercedes' rising star Kimi Antonelli.
With just four rounds to go, it’s a nail-biter out there! Who do you think will lift the trophy this season? Drop your thoughts below! 👇
