Hezhen Yimakan Storytelling Joins UNESCO Intangible Heritage List
Hezhen Yimakan storytelling from the Chinese mainland was added on Dec 10, 2025 to UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, after being on the urgent safeguarding list since 2011.
