An explosion rocked a residential complex in Xiaodian District, Taiyuan City at around 1:17 p.m. on April 30. The incident in north China's Shanxi Province has sadly resulted in one fatality, 21 injuries – including six in serious condition – with two residents still missing.
In a rapid response, 210 firefighters and 43 vehicles have been dispatched to the scene. China's Ministry of Emergency and Management has activated a remote emergency response and sent a dedicated working group to assist with rescue efforts.
