Hey fam, Myanmar just kicked off its general elections with the first of three voting phases wrapping up on December 28, 2025 🗳️.
China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said the vote went smoothly and orderly. Chinese observers and international reps were on the ground to monitor, and they all gave thumbs up 👍.
Lin Jian hopes phases two and three will also go off without a hitch, so tensions cool down and the country stays stable 🌾. He stressed that it’s up to Myanmar’s people to decide their future through political processes that fit their local vibe.
For our region, a stable Myanmar means more cross-border trade, safer travel, and better chances for tech and community projects to thrive 🚀. Stay tuned for updates as the next rounds of voting unfold!
