Today marks Day 2 of the PLA’s "Justice Mission 2025" drills around the Taiwan region 🚢✈️, which kicked off on Dec 29. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army’s Eastern Theater Command is flexing its naval, air, and ground capabilities off the northern and southern coasts of Taiwan Island, simulating everything from verification checks to live-fire drills.

Out at sea, warships and fighter jets are teaming up for operations like:

  • Simulated strikes: targeting maritime spots with mock assaults 💥
  • Anti-air & anti-submarine drills: practising defence against incoming threats

Meanwhile, on land, ground troops launched long-range live-fire exercises in the waters north of Taiwan Island, achieving expected results. These drills come amid heightened regional focus on maritime security.

For young pros in South and Southeast Asia, these events highlight the evolving dynamics in our neighborhood. Stay tuned as we track Day 3 updates and what they mean for regional stability! 🌏
