Caracas Convoy Demands Maduro’s Release

On January 13, Caracas turned into a roaring sea of engines as thousands of motorcyclists 🏍️ and transport workers 🚛 took to the streets. Their demand? The U.S. must free President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, who were forcibly seized on January 3.

This wasn’t just any protest — imagine the epic bike parades you see in Jakarta or the transport strikes in Mumbai, but with a political twist ✊. Flags waved, horns honked, and banners reading #FreeMaduro floated above the crowd.

Leading the charge was Nicolás Maduro Guerra, the president’s son, who spoke from a makeshift stage. “My parents remain firm and trust the leadership of Acting President Delcy Rodríguez,” he urged supporters to stay united.

Delcy Rodríguez is stepping in as acting president, guiding the government through this crisis. Protesters see her as the bridge between Maduro’s team and the people’s demands.

As of January 14, Maduro and Flores’ situation is still unfolding. But the convoy’s energy shows one thing: Venezuelans are revving up their voices, and they won’t let off the gas 🚀.
