Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited northern Gaza on Tuesday, vowing to intensify military operations until all strategic objectives are met. Accompanied by Defense Minister Israel Katz and military chief Eyal Zamir, he received a comprehensive security briefing from commanders on the ground. 
Netanyahu praised Israeli troops for their efforts, remarking that Hamas will continue to "absorb more and more blows." Katz added that the military will escalate pressure on Hamas until the group agrees to release hostages and is ultimately defeated.
In an 18-month offensive that has reportedly claimed over 51,000 lives according to Gaza-based health authorities, the region remains fragile. A recent strike in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis targeted a Hamas cell commander, resulting in the tragic loss of a medic and injuries to nine other patients and medics. 
An Israeli military spokesperson emphasized that the strike was executed using precise munitions to mitigate collateral damage. As the situation in northern Gaza continues to evolve, stakeholders and global audiences keep a keen eye on the escalating tensions.
