Russia’s Drone & Missile Strike Hits Kyiv Post Prisoner Swap

In a dramatic twist, Russia launched 250 drones and 14 ballistic missiles against Kyiv, marking one of the largest combined aerial assaults in the three-year conflict—coming right after the first stage of a major prisoner swap.

The Ukrainian air force confirmed that several apartment buildings sustained damage and 15 people were injured during the attacks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the night as a "tough night" for the nation, urging international allies to consider new sanctions to pressure Moscow toward a ceasefire.

On social media, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga emphasized that the barrage is clear evidence that enhanced sanctions pressure on Moscow is needed to speed up the peace process. Stay informed and take care, everyone! 😔
