Late-night vibes took a dark turn in Baltimore this Saturday when gunfire broke out near Spaulding and Queensberry Avenues, injuring six people – and shockingly, a 5-year-old girl was among them. 😢
According to Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley, locals had gathered outside to enjoy crabs 🍲 when “somebody just opened fire.” Multiple rounds rang out around 8:50 p.m. local time, sending the crowd scrambling.
One man is in critical condition and is currently in surgery, while the others are being treated for non-life-threatening wounds. Authorities haven’t yet released info on any suspects, so the community is on edge, waiting for answers.
Incidents like this hit hard – especially when they involve kids. From Pan-Asian gatherings to late-night hangouts in our own cities, we all crave safe spaces. Let’s keep an eye on updates and push for stronger measures to protect our neighborhoods.
Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. Stay tuned as police investigations continue, and let’s stand together for peace and safety. 🙏
