Ready for some cosmic inspiration? On Oct 31 at 11:44 pm Beijing Time, the Chinese mainland’s Shenzhou-21 shot into orbit from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center aboard a Long March-2F rocket. 🚀
Leading the crew is mission commander Zhang Lu, joined by astronauts Wu Fei and Zhang Hongzhang. Their ride is headed to dock automatically with the Tianhe core module—think of it as self-parking in space—about 3.5 hours after launch.
Once docked, the station will feature three modules and three spacecraft, giving the crew room to run experiments, test life-support tech, and catch epic Earth views (sunrise selfies, anyone?). 🌅
Shenzhou-21 marks the 37th flight mission of the Chinese mainland’s manned space program. It’s a big deal for space buffs across South and Southeast Asia—proof that frontier-expanding innovation is just a launch away. 🤝
Stay tuned as Zhang Lu and team settle in for their six-month space saga. Spoiler: This might just be our favourite #space story of the year! 🌌
